Excellent Horse liquid electrolytes

Excellent Horse Electrolytes Liquid is a complementary feed (dietetic feed) for horses to compensate for the loss of electrolytes during heavy sweating. It is an important supplement of salts and vitamins, which contributes to a rapid restoration of the fluid balance during (heavy) exercise or on hot days.

Effect

Electrolytes Liquid contains the most important electrolytes (salts) that a horse loses during sweating, for example on hot summer days or during heavy labour. These electrolytes are sodium, potassium, chloride and magnesium. Electrolytes are important minerals that the horse’s body needs for its muscles, nerves and fluid balance, among other things. Electrolytes Liquid is the ideal way to maintain the salt level in horses.

Use Electrolytes Liquid:

• during warm weather
• after strenuous exercise (for example, training or competition)

Feed instructions

• As maintenance (e.g. after training): 20 ml per day (<450 kg) or 40 ml per day (>450 kg)
• After a competition/in hot weather: 50 ml per day (<450 kg) or 80 ml per day (>450 kg)

Shake before use. Water should be available at all times. Supervise sufficient water intake after administration. It is recommended that advice from a veterinarian be sought before use, before extending the period of use or in case of insufficient water intake.
