Description

Supplementary feed to stimulate intestinal function.
Increases the osmotic value of intestinal contents and promotes gastrointestinal passage.

Bovi Laxi is composed of sodium sulphate, a bitter-tasting salt, and calamus root, which disguises this bitter taste. Sodium sulphate is not absorbed by the intestines, thereby increasing the osmotic value in the intestines. This causes the absorption of moisture from the intestines to be lowered and instead moisture is drawn through the intestines. Therefore, make sure the animal always has plenty of fresh drinking water available. The osmotic process increases the volume in the intestines, which is an incentive for the animal to defecate. Faeces will start to form after about 24 hours.

Feed instructions
